Christ’s Church Albany’s mission is to build a Jesus-centered community.
We believe that following Jesus isn’t just something we do alone, it’s something we do together. Our church is a place where everyone belongs, where we grow in faith, and where we actively love and serve the world around us.
Christ is not a name, it is a title. When we say Jesus Christ, we are making a proclamation that we belong to Jesus, living under His rule as King of kings and Lord of lords. With Him, eternal life is possible now and forever.
Church is a group of people following Jesus as King together. We choose to love one another as Christ taught and demonstrated His love for us. The Christian life cannot be lived in isolation, we need community. We carry each other’s burdens and joys, suffering and celebrating together. We share our time, talents, and treasures for the common good.
God loves our city and He desires for His Kingdom to reign here in Albany. His plan is for us to live as people sent on mission–working for justice, evangelism, and the shalom (peace) of our communities for the sake of the Kingdom. We seek to offer ourselves as a gift to our neighborhood, city, and the world.
This is what we believe. We invite everyone else to join.
In all things we keep Jesus at the center. Members of CCA hold a wide variety of convictions on many topics—but we are united in our desire to follow Jesus, become more like Him, and help each other do the same.
