Love Albany events would not be possible without the support of community volunteers.
Types of Volunteer Roles
Love Albany volunteer roles are great for community members who are looking for occasional volunteering opportunities. Our volunteers serve primarily to help with events hosted by Love Albany, or events we are loaning Love Albany equipment.
Our volunteers have the flexibility to opt in to events that work for their schedules.
At the events you may be asked to do things such as:
- Equipment set up
- Registration/ Welcome
- Running games
- Staffing the bounce house (collecting waivers)
- Make popcorn
- Facepainting
- General clean up
- Equipment tear down
If you have specific skills (face painting, experience running sound, etc) please include that in your application!
Volunteer Sign-Up Process
If you are interested in volunteering for a Love Albany event, please fill out this application.
Our application includes a consent to a background check. As many of our events are geared towards kids and families, this is an important part of keeping our community safe.
Once we’ve received a completed application and cleared background check, you will be on our list to receive calls for volunteers.
Each time we have an event that needs volunteers we will send a sign up list to our current, active volunteers. You can pick and choose which events and roles work best for you.
